When you
order your 0800 freephone number, you nominate
a "target" number.
This is the number to which all calls to your 0800
number will be diverted.
Your "target" number
can be a landline number, a mobile number or even
an international phone number.
For instance if you
operate your business from Spain then you can still
publish your 0800 number in the UK and receive your
calls in Spain.
All our 0800 numbers take
the form: 0800 734 xxxx. When a customer calls your
0800 number, they are instantly diverted to your
chosen target number, and they will not be aware
of where they have been diverted to.
It does not
matter how the person who is calling you e.g. From
a mobile, overseas etc. You just get charged the
standard incoming call rate. |
|
| The only exception is if someone calls your 0800
number from a bt payphone, where there is a 12p per
minute levy.Due to the volume of 0800 numbers we
sell, we do not publish a list of available 0800
numbers. |
If you are going to be using your 0800 number on
printed media, you do not need a "memorable" number
- the fact that you have an 0800 number is enough to
encourage customers to phone you. If you are running
a TV or radio campaign, then request one of our “memorable” numbers.
There may be an additional charge for these numbers. |
